Bhutan, India, Nepal - 2020

Photos taken on a 30 day O.A.T. tour of Northern India, Bhutan and Nepal during the winter of 2020. We started by flying into Kolkata, India. On the pre-trip in Bhutan, we visited Paro, the Dochula Pass, Punakha, Metshina, and Thimphu. Bhutan ended with an all day hike to the Tiger's Nest Monastery. The main tour was in Northern India - Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, Abhaneri, Bharatpur, Agra, Lucknow, and Varanasi. We ended with a post-trip in Nepal - Kathmandu and Pokhara. We were a group of 14 in India, a few less in Nepal and Bhutan. The Covid-19 virus was just starting in this area at the start of the trip, by the end, all the counties were closing their borders.
